ignorance is a bliss. thats what my friend used to tell me. and i believe her now. at least, thats what i have been doing for the past 24 hours. keeping myself busy, trying not to think what has happened. sure, there are moments of weaknesses when i have to stand still and re-digest what has been happening. but the worst thing is feeling useless, not being able to do anything about it. even a phone call will not change anything. that is also if i was able to connect. the non-active tone or the friendly telco person probably bored with me already…

anyway… i sent my summer internship application finally. of course, with the help of Miss Y who managed to log in to MSN just in time before i rushingly submit my application online. one down and many more to go and perhaps… many more help from her will come… i then watched tele for a while before going out for coffee with a friend of mine….the past 2 hours, i have been playing with my little toy, trying to put the song that i like into my mobile. it is definetely a gruesome process.. but hey… 3 hours later.. its all good. at least 4 different programs have to be used now…

this is for Miss Y if you are reading this: you might be wondering what song i put. remember that day, when we were at the footlocker store in the shopping mall in sydney, and it played this techno song i like, and i was asking what was the title, and we were like… “dunno”.. haha.. u know what? my friend has it in his car and it was playing when we were on our way to the cafe.. so i was like… “OMG.. this is it”.. hahah… the title is “moonlight shadow” by “groove coverage”. it is an old song but being remixed. you can get this from kazaa. there are so many edits but i reckon for the simple one, choose radio edit. so, this is gonna be the song that will be playing in my mp3 list for the next… god knows when…. but also.. on my mobile too, whether u r calling or smsing…. isnt that exciting?? hahha.. anyway.. im bored and trying to move away my thoughts from all the negative things life has to offer… and this is it

i have always been concerned with domestic violence. especially when the weaker is constantly becoming the victim. to put it even in a better perspective, when the children know it, but they can do shit nuthin about it. it is really frustrating. what do they think they are doing? arent they old enough to realise that there are better things out there than fighting and hitting each other. sure enough the reason might be able to ‘justify’ but i can never see enough reasons to justify any domestic violence. aren’t they ashamed of themselves when the children are looking at them and wonder “are these the parents i used to know?”

long weekend in Australia due to Queen’s birthday. It doesnt matter to me… coz i have been having holiday every single day…the past few days.. i have been going to cinemas more often than i have ever been in my life.. hahaha.. Australia’s fave past time is kicking back to me…. I watched ‘2 fast 2 furious’ and just now ‘Basic’. ‘2 fast 2 furious’ has lots of good cars and all the male machos stuff. The story line is completely predictable but who cares?? People go to see the movie just for the cars… ‘Basic’ on the other hand is a full-twisted movie with unpredictable story line. If you have been a huge fan of intelligent movie, this one will certainly drive you crazy. With John Travolta and Samuel L. Jackson as the main actors, you cannot ask for more… They are renowned for playin in intelligent, authority-based storyline movies. And ‘Basic’ makes you think till the end of the movie, even until now, I am still unable to take off the thinking hat i have been wearing since the movie started…..All in all…my verdicts:
3 stars out of 5 for ‘2 fast 2 furious’ and 4.5 stars out of 5 for ‘Basic’.

I am currently using a computer at the University of New South Wales in Sydney. The past few days have been interesting and i will be back soon in Melbourne tommorrow evening.

Once i got back to Melbourne, there are s&^% loads of things that have to be followed up. I havent done my cover letter yet for my summer internships. some of the applications are due in the first week of June, so those applications will be my first priority once i get back!

Other things including tidying up my apartment, getting new bed and study table for myself and my sister who gonna come over here soon. I converted half of my living room space to be my studio, with table and bed next to the TV. Not really a good idea, but it would save me lots of money, rather than getting another 3 bed room apartment. I need to save lots of $$$ for my travel!

Anyway… people are qeueing up for the computer now… will update soon with pictures!!!!!
