a healthier day?

2004
01.30

My friends and I decided to be healthier today….we hit some shuttlecocks in Melb Uni Sports. Two hours and my breath couldnt keep up…bah. After that, i went to give campus tour to Yewy from Uni of Queensland… when i went to MUOSS.. woa… so many things have changed… its been a while since i was in that office… time flies really fast.

So what in the world is goin on now?

US election: Kerry won the first spot in New Hampshire..and Clark scrambled through a dissapointing third spot..the next big day seems to be Feb 24 where Idaho is up for grab, but before that there will be mini primaries in other smaller states….Go Clark!
BTW, did i tell you that i received a Hate call from some idiot from US. He noted my strong opposition to Dean and support for Clark! Some ppl really have nothing to do but resort to intimidation. Bleh….

Asian countries: Bird flue!!!… Thai officials admitted that they screwed up….this could be the next big thing after Sars. Many theories suggested the virus originated from China (again??) and the human death toll is rising. With that, millions of chickens will be culled which seems the only way to curb and contain the widespread of the disease.

Australia: ALP held its national conference today in Sydney and Latham is on the spotlight. The next few days, they will be focusin on their policy for refugees. In the mean time, election is in full swing at the Sunshine State. Peter Beatie is a favourite but thats not after a bad start up in the campaign.

Britain: Blair is ‘cleared’ of charges surrounding the intelligence fucked up. Howard seemed to piggyback on this saying that he and Blair were owed apologies from their critics… yea rite!

100k Iraqis and a Labrador

My friend is a an outstandin member of the ALP, so tonight while we were having fun at Bar Open, we could not help but to indulge ourselves in a political conversation, among others of course. Not surprisingly, the conversation-without-Bush-joke-isnt-complete started to roll with him telling us this joke:

An Australian bloke was visiting this small and secluded bar and was ordering a Scotch and coke when at the far small-lit corner, he recognised two familiar figures. He then asked the Bartender:

Bloke: Arent they Bush and Powell?
Bartender: Yea, they are!
Bloke: Cool, make it three Scotch and cokes then!

He then made his way over to Powell and Bush and started having conversation with them:

Bloke: Excuse me sirs, arent you Mr Powell and Mr Bush? (while handing them the drinks)
Bush: Yes, we are
Bloke: What are you guys doing here?

POwell then looked at Bush, and started saying:

Powell: Shall we tell him?
BUsh: Yea.. why not….(while nodding his head)
POwell: We are actually planning the World War Three!

Bloke: WWIII?? Shouldnt u do it from the Situation Room rather in this bar? SO, what have u guys planned so far?

Bush: Well, we are thinking of invading Afghanistan and after that Iraq.
Powell: Yea.. we gonna take down 100 000 Iraqis and a Labrador..

Bloke: (while raising his eyebrow).. why a Labrador?
Bush: (looking towards Powell with full conviction) See what i told you, NO one give a damn about the Iraqis!!

Iowa caucus has spoken, i say: Clark for President!

2004

I like Wesley Clark, and i hide none of my oppositions to Dean. In fact, i ranked him as low as Al Gore and Lieberman. In 2000, when it was either Gore or Bush, i chose Bush. This time, if Clark didnt win democrat’s nomination, in my very hypocritical position, i will choose Bush instead. Iowa caucus has decided that its John Kerry’s turn. I like that dude but not as much as i like Clark. I think Clark is the only person who will be able to bring America out of its current international crisis. Michael Moore seems to agree with me. The best scenario would be: Clark for president and Kerry as the number 2.

It would be interesting to watch New Hampshire now that Gerphadt is already gone (or at least there is an indication that he is out of the race)… gettin the 4th spot meant a tragedy for his campaign fund which rests heavily on his key state of Iowa…Lieberman and Clark would be interesting to watch for this New Hampshire state. Whoever win this state will have a strong chance of winnin the democrat convention! I hope Clark would be the main contender for Bush and if he is, i might get Foxtel installed!

The only way for America to move forward is encapsulated in how Clark will move up in the race. If Clark is not the person, America is best with Bush, known for his unmerciful unilateral strategy, to maintain status quo and do what it has to do…. just think for the Americans not the world….coz the rest of democrats candidates, do not know what they are in for!

from fried noodle to fried beehoon all because of 2003

i woke up today and was rushin myself as i was close to late to church…i had to drag myself out of bed, ironed both my tshirt and jean and had a quick shower….

went for groceries shopping thinking of cooking fried noodles for dinner…..i bought some beef balls, tofu and cashew nuts…as i was heating up the oil in the pan… i quickly opened two packets of noodles from the fridge and put them in a bowl…the water boiler is givin me noise that the water is hot and boilin!..but i smelled somethin funny…. its from the two noodles…. i quickly checked the noodles. they were greasy and sticky. i checked the package. Best Use before 23.11.03.

And i was like.”.. yea… thats fine”…so i started to fry the tofu and beef balls… As i was opening the cashew nuts package, my mind was like… hold on…. its 2004 now and the noodle is not okay! I was havin a shock of my life! while still panickin i quicky turned off the gas. i didnt know what i should do. all the ingredients were ready and stuff but there was no noodle.

then there it was.. my lovely beehoon… still packaged nicely sittin on the top of the shelves. its uncooked and its dry. i checked the date and there was no label… oh well… assume its still okay ( i could sue the company anyway if it wasnt, they didnt put the label!)

so there was my story from fried noodle to fried behoon, all because of 2003.

a little cry

i asked myself as i lied on my sofabed, what do i want right now? a soft gentle touch from someone who is far away. i reached my mobile for relief, pounding myself with random thoughts, will she feel the same way how i am feeling right now? but then, how could i describe one?

i quicky brushed my thoughts of calling and at the risk of being dissapointed, i forced Chester to accompany me under the quilt. in the distant, i could hear a subtle sound of music regurgitating the same melodies that reminds me much of her.

sometimes, its better for me not to push the green call button on my phone, but submerged myself in my own thoughts, feeling very comfortable as i feel being loved in a distance.

meanwhile, Chester is licking my face, understanding that i need to be cuddled just like he is!

Woww…..im destined for the 7th level of Hell

I took this strange Hell Test and here was the result:

The Dante’s Inferno Test has banished you to the Seventh Level of Hell!
Here is how you matched up against all the levels:

Level Score
Purgatory (Repenting Believers) Moderate
Level 1 – Limbo (Virtuous Non-Believers) Very Low
Level 2 (Lustful) Very High
Level 3 (Gluttonous) Moderate
Level 4 (Prodigal and Avaricious) Very Low
Level 5 (Wrathful and Gloomy) High
Level 6 – The City of Dis (Heretics) Very Low
Level 7 (Violent) Extreme
Level 8- the Malebolge (Fraudulent, Malicious, Panderers) High
Level 9 – Cocytus (Treacherous) Moderate

Take the Dante’s Inferno Test

I’m not sure how i should feel now?? hahahha…. oh well! Here is what I am predicted to experience after I die:

Guarded by the Minotaur, who snarls in fury, and encircled within the river Phlegethon, filled with boiling blood, is the Seventh Level of Hell. The violent, the assasins, the tyrants, and the war-mongers lament their pitiless mischiefs in the river, while centaurs armed with bows and arrows shoot those who try to escape their punishment. The stench here is overpowering. This level is also home to the wood of the suicides- stunted and gnarled trees with twisting branches and poisoned fruit. At the time of final judgement, their bodies will hang from their branches. In those branches the Harpies, foul birdlike creatures with human faces, make their nests. Beyond the wood is scorching sand where those who committed violence against God and nature are showered with flakes of fire that rain down against their naked bodies. Blasphemers and sodomites writhe in pain, their tongues more loosed to lamentation, and out of their eyes gushes forth their woe. Usurers, who followed neither nature nor art, also share company in the Seventh Level.

We don’t want you! Can you understand?

Today I went for the first Council meeting at the Union for 2004, covering from some IA councillors who could not be there because they are overseas. I am getting sick and tired of all these. No, i have distanced myself from the Union and truthfully, i could not care less about what would happen next.. one thing i know though, that certain individuals are still displaying arrogance when they should not. They dont seem to understand that they are UNWANTED. Maybe they forget the purpose of life, the higher calling, instead looking for political legitimacy by covering themselves in words that they know deep inside, has no place at all.

‘We are acting in the best interests of the student’, ‘lets move in solidarity’, ‘in the spirit of bipartisanship’, ’student control of student affairs’…… give me a break. They said so soo much that they starting to believe their own lies…. isnt that how that works anyway…. And you know what makes me want to puke? They really believe that they are the ‘good guys’ and ‘ people’s choice’…….These individuals keep recruiting new individuals to be their sidekickers…. young innocent people who dont really understand….and to be brainwashed and start to follow the leaders…..some of them ‘dead dogs’??? The irony is… they sometimes bark louder than the old dogs…Even when they dont know shit what they are talking about….and these people are ‘clever’….They twist and twist your words in such a way that suit them.. they blame other for their own failings… they blame others for their own misfortunes…. These are the people who cannot accept that they are crooks, these are the people that cannot accept failure…. these are the people who cannot accept defeat….these are the people who dont know themselves… they are lost in their own little dream.. thinking they can rule the world…I cannot see the worst form of democracy, when it is being used to legitimize certain acts… these are terrorisms of the new world…. worse than suicide bombers….worst than tyrants…..I pray to God that they are given lights to this world…..

All those comments coming from their foul mouths will always be treated with every contempt they deserved!

google ‘tedy’

2004
01.14

awesome… my name ‘tedy’ is on top of the google global search list. so when u try ‘tedy’ and click ‘im feelin lucky’, you will be brought straight to this site… ahead from the ice hookey sportman from the US (whatever his name is..)

i found a hosting company and has to signed myself up for 48 months plan so that i could get a cheap $4.95 per month rate….its kinda cool.. but im waiting for the migration problem now..i wonder if this will affect my rating on google coz basically google has this robots that will search through your pages and active links..

did i tell you that i got a work placement at National Australia Bank?? Yea i think i did… its under the CPA program and it will be in the first two weeks of february…well, i tried to get in touch with the contact person from the NAB, but apparently the person is not listed in directory for some reason…. i tried emailing him two days ago but no reply… i think its because they moved the office to Dockland.. so they might not yet update his contact details and stuff… i will try to contact them tomm i reckon…or perhaps.. CPA… just to shed some light on what i should be expecting for the first day and within that two weeks period…

this year would be a very interesting year….OZ dollars already hit the 0.78 US barrier.. and moving faster and at a full steam… economy globally? i reckon investors will take a wait and see position…. too many elections happening in many countries: US, Australia, Taiwan, Malaysia, Indonesia, the Phillipines..amongst many others….. would be interesting to see how things will turn out…

US election is also moving at a fast rate, with Democrats Primaries being held… first with the Iowa caucus and stuff…. Dean and Clark seems to be the leader in the race…26% and 20% respectively…. i personally would like to see Clark to win….i think he would be able to offer the American people with the real choice….Bush vs Clark… interesting… Dean on the other hand, is too dull for me.. he doesnt really have a firm grip on US problems… keep making mistakes as he moves forward… (issuing press releases to correct those mistakes are not goin to help)… i was contemplatin to subsribe myself to Foxtel…. i did get one for the last election and soccer of course… but not sure if i should get one this time…..
