for some reasons, the payment that i made to my hosting company couldnt get through…. that means that my subscription has been cancelled and i will have no place to put up the site….. i am currently shopping for hosting companies and hopefully will be able to get one really soon……
so in the mean time, if there are suddent abruptions for not being able to access my site, that means they have closed down the site for me……. but i promise that it would be up really soon!
It was such an unproductive weekend… but can ‘relaxing’ be defined as unproductive? who cares! i was doin movie marathon at the comfort of my sofa bed, accompanied by Chester, Sasha and Ziggy. I finished two seasons of West Wing in a weekend….. too bad… Australia doesnt have Season 3 & 4 in DVDs yet…….despite the temptation of checkin the storyline online…. i am waitin whether Bartlet will run for the second term…….(i kinda know he will, if not, why would it be in Season 5 now?)…oh well… its more of how the story goes, i guess……

sometimes, the feeling of belonging is so strong that you fall short in recognising what is there for you to be happy for. they say its too good to be true. but exactly this that makes you to seek comfort by further inflicting confusion on yourself and perhaps others.
life is easy until you make it hard yourself. i know this is what i am doing. but i know i have to do this now and i dont know why. it is part of the system. confusing? yea, thats the theme i suppose.
Finally, it hit Kazaa users too! It was Napster and now its Kazaa….and not because of the legal suit like what happened to Napster, more of technical disruption that annoy most of kazaa users… and yes.. they are those annoying noises in your downloaded song..normally the static noise is in the first 20 second of the song.
The IRAA (Industry Recording Association of America), the juggernaut in the music industry, has decided to be ’smart’ and campaign against Kazaa by becoming Kazaa users themselves. They have a huge database of the latest songs which contain those static noises. And because of the P2P nature, most users in Kazaa have those songs….and they didnt bother to delete them from the dowloaded list of their shared folders….grrrrr!!! And this is not only it, IRAA also can track IP ranges that would be able to get your IP address…and before you know it… you will be served with a notice by IRAA!!! Yes, they are crackin down now!
So most people switch to WinMX, Limeshare, IRC and many others….. but how far can this go?? Will this signify the end of free online music??
I didn have sleep yesterday to start the first workin day in 2004. Went back to MUSU, settling all outstandin matters as well as meeting others… Most of the operations are under MUSUL now and the Interim General Manager seems to handle the current situation well…
I also went to NLC National Office meeting up with Sharon, NLC staff, workin out what to do in the next few weeks and, synchronising our thoughts together….
Today i will have national office bearers meeting at 1.30…it might be a long meeting and i havent really prepared all the materials yet… oh well… few more hours to go….
On another note, Britney Spears has filed for an anullment after her crazy marriage at Little White Chapel over the weekend… was it a publicity stunt? who knows?? but one thing for sure that it was a clear breach to the sanctity of marriage… how could idiots like her (who might be rolemodel for millions others), do some kinda stunt like that?? Oh well… its Britney Spears… anythin could happen!
On Friday i managed to survive without sleep until 7pm… crazy me…I also went to the book sale in Melbourne Exhibition Center….bought three books… one of them is How To Be Megalomaniac??? hihihi.. would be interesting to read… i have numerous books on backlog to read… i wonder when i have the time do… been doin installments now and then….but thats about it
Yesterday (saturday), i was just stayin home, doing lots of nlc works…affiliation and sponsorship kits as well as different by elections.. phuih… the big bulk is somehow gone… now the polishin bit which will take agessssss…….
Today (sunday), ive got nuthin plan… and want to sleep in again…. waking up late afternoon just in time for church…. oh yea, actually tonite Shan asked me to play pool…. so might have a night out….
Johann has been arguin about the name of the bar that we went to on NYE.. whether its Jim or Gin… alrighty.. i have to concede to you… its Gin!!!!

Last night, i went out with my friends to the supposedly, the biggest NYE celebration in Melbourne…. they were damn right… about 400,000 people were around the city and waiting for the fireworks display….
They were two displays…..one for the children at 9.30 and the other one at 12am!…. They were both good….. In between, we stopped by at Jim Palace, the only place we found without cover charge….

I woke up really late today.. coz i was so damn tired… and there is a new member of my household.. Ziggy… he is Jelita’s cat… but because Jelita is in Shanghai now and her bf, David is leaving for Korea tommorrow for a year, I volunteered to take care of him in the mean time till Jelita is back in early Feb…. He has been under considerable stresss, and kept himself isolated under the sofa….I think he has been trying to familiarise himself….
Alrighty… i hope the new year is good for me… My new year resolution is to get a job once i graduate!!
