In an unprecedented move, Indonesian President SBY has given his personal mobile number to the public, as an extended eye and ear of the president. The last 4 digits of the phone number denotes his birthday – September 9, 1949.
He mentioned that his phone will be on 24 hours a day for general public to call or sms if they are neglected by local or national governmental institutions. He didnt want however to hear any baseless accusations, “Slander is much crueler than murder….terror is not welcomed as well” he said.
