i left the country in such a rush.
i finished my last paper on wednesday. it was by far the most astounding exam i have ever sit so far. the questions were okay but there simply wasnt enough time to finish the paper. not a single person i have talked to after the exam was able to finish the paper. thats probably the good news given that the final marks will most likely be normalised and distributed accordingly.
it’s been 4 years since i last returned home. now, here i am, trying hard to adjust to the ‘culture shock’. there are many things that have changed since. and this is only in Jakarta. i have yet made the travel to my home town.
one of the things i notice upon arriving is a huge sign at the arrival lounge proclaiming: “Welcome to Indonesia. Death Sentence for Drug Traffickers”. not exactly a welcoming sign. i would have taken a picture of it, except, i do not have any more battery power in the camera.
anyway, the hotel here is charging about $2.00 per 15-minute for internet access. such an extorbitant price. oh well.. broadband is rare… (i cant wait for lunch at Bakmi Gajahmada!!!)
