cold cold cold

its a cold winter and im getting a cold. its a fuzzy feverish feeling. everytime i sneezed and coughed, everyone looked at me with the he-got-the-disease kinda look. the tissue cover just confirmed their greater fears… oh no, we could be infected!!

i dont blame them.

anyway, as i was going to work today, a gal from the AIIAVIC called me regarding a survey asking all sorts of questions, right from what kind of world politics i was interested in, the various events, and the kinda policies. it was an interesting survey that i was more than glad to help.

I also got into an interesting discussion with Mark at work about the Papuan, East Timor, the role of religion in Indonesia, Bashir and the Euston Manifesto. What was interesting coming from Mark that is very much worth noting is the ‘contradiction’ that the manifesto appears to offer. How could you believe in freedom of speech and freedom of association but rejects all kinds of terrorism. Who are you to decide and define what and who the terrorists are? A very interesting point that needs to be analysed and explored further. Definitely worth my brain time in the coming weeks!
