Damien Rice at his best

My mates who went to Cairns earlier this month have particular liking to Damien Rice’s old single - The Blower’s Daughter. I haven’t listened to the song since Closer’s debut but has renewed my interest ever since they kept humming them and playing it at every opportunity available.

Damien Rice is such a great artist and The Blower’s Daughter showcases his unbelievable vocal.

But apparently i have yet to see his best. Imagine him singing The Blower’s Daughter and did a cover for the infamous Radiohead’s Creep…

The result is an astonishing unbelievable genius melody….

p/s I can only get hold of his 2003’s performance in Pukkelpop Festival…The 2006 Concert in Singapore’s version is un-loadable in Youtube. He’s coming to Australia in Feb 2007 too!

To top it off… you must also watch the combination of his Cold Water and his cover for Leonard Cohen’s Hallelujah
