marriage is a beautiful thing

before my ‘rant’ on marriage, i forgot to let you all know that on my flight back from Brissie to freezin Melbourne, i sat behind Terry (the BB housemate) who was evicted early. It looked like she is coming over for shopping… the steward was glued to her and giving her ‘guidance’ on where to shops in Melbourne…..

anyway… i was watching tele today… and i found the concept of marriage is very intriguing… such a lovely unit. if i have a family, i could imagine myself spending a lot of time with them, fixing the house, doing groceries together with my son running around the supermarket, buying him toys, talking adult and family stuff with my better half… that idea strucks me to the heart… perhaps i have overdose of family love for the past three days… it started of course with my little trip to sharon’s place for her bday treat….she has such a nice family… and the whole time i kept imagining myself having my own family……..

of course all these thoughts are in context… yes i know i havent even graduated….. one more semester to go… and there is the whole confusion about what to do next…. in the mean time.. i have started collecting all my paperworks for PR applicaiton just in case if my dad changed his mind about sending me to China… or even doing both at the same time if possible…. i will be having my medical checkup this coming friday… scary thoughts… for some reason.. the idea of getting someone knowing your physical stuff really scares me….. but uve got to do what youve got to do i suppose….

school is starting is one week time…. mie is starting hers tomm… she has been pretty stressed for her thesis.. i think its due in about 4 months time…. hmmm… lucky i shelved the idea of doing honours as fast as i picked up the brochure…..i couldnt bear another university year…. its not a pretty imagination…. i still like the idea of going to Beijing just to study Mandarin…a new country…coz i love travelling… but for now.. i will see how the next one month will unfold…..hopefully it will shed a new light as to how my life would be in 2005…..

gonna buzz now… tomm have to wake up early to clock into the office… the post conference stuff really bothers me now… with the annual statement yet to be lodged, all constitutional amendments as well as finalising all the accounts… urrggghhh… not forgetting my industrial project stuff…..

oh well… the cycle will never stop!

it is FINALLY over !!

Thank God It’s Over…..

I reckoned i flunk it this time. This was by far the worst exam i have ever sit in my entire’s uni history. Conference organising is not helpin either. I had to juggle in the 24 hours leadin to the exam, the countless manuals of Oracle jargons as well as preparing all printing materials to meet the printer’s friday deadline. It was a nightmare… a night i would hope not to repeat in anytime in the near future (conventional wisdom says that AC does that to NGS)…..

Shortly after the three hours struggle, i visited our ghetto to meet with Sharon to finalise all the materials. we went over to the printer to discuss about our printing needs and submitted whatever we have.

i can feel a huge sign of relief from sharon’s face after we left the printer. i was too tired to allow my face muscles making those expressions. oli (sharon’s son) gave us the occasional laughters and the innocent child to vent our frustrations at….

on that note, zi hao and adrian have not slept either, helpin me finishing all the documents through the lonely nights and 56k modem (we are talkin about files at least 10 MB). knowin how technology-savvy adrian is, to span 2 hours in downloading/uploading a file can be quite a frustrating affair.

oh well.. thanks guys.. its over, at least for now….three weeks more to go of excruciating pains, and i shall return to a ‘normal’ international student mode…i wish it could be as easy as switchin different modes in icq….

the next few days will be spent in finalising conference stuff: rego, formal dinner, documentations, files… the list goes on……oh well…three weeks…
